The team at US Wellness Meats lays out a conscious plan to provide natural, grass-fed beef. Their process has three key stages: Plant Diversity, Managed Grazing, and Timed Recovery. The three step process is taken from the nature-approved grazing style of the bison of the American Great Plains.
To start, plant diversity is essential to providing cattle a balanced, grass based diet. This comes as a significant change from the current meat industries GMO filled corn products, among other foods, that are often that majority of the livestock diet.
The second phase incorporates grazing, and emulates the standard of our grandparent’s generation which allowed cattle to seek out the grass under natural circumstances.
The final stage is recovery, and is focused on allowing the ground to be fertile of diverse organic matter, usually taking around 30 days per designated area. US Wellness Meats provides a product that is full of nutrients such as, omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin A, while avoiding pesticides, hormones and antibiotics that are found in grain-fed beef industries. The system is designed on the premise of what is healthy for the planet and the animals, is also healthy for YOU.
