Here is a recipe to make crispy nuts which can be used in a variety of recipes, as well as a snack. Making them this way makes them easier to digest!
- 4 cups raw nuts
- 1 Tbsp sea salt
Place nuts in a bowl with salt and cover with water. Cover loosely and leave at room temperature for about 8 hours. (note: only soak cashews for about 6 hours) Drain in a colander and strew onto a baking pan or cookie sheet. Place in an oven set at 150 *F and let them dehydrate for 12 to 24 hours or until completely dry and crisp.
